Hiittenharju is a recreational area and sports centre located in Harjavalta and offering a host of possibilities. Due to its unique nature, the ridge provides possibilities for hiking and outdoor activities around the year. In addition to hiking, skiing, downhill skiing, ski jumping, snowmobile driving, swimming, dancing, agility and archery are all possible in Hiittenharju. The services provided in the area are completed by ski rental, a sports gear shop, a hotel and a restaurant, service stations and a pet cemetery. The natural landscape in Hiittenharju is breathtaking, in both winter and summer.
The historically important Huovintie - The Trooper's road - runs along the north-eastern part of Hiittenharju. This medieval route led from the mouth of the Kokemäenjoki River to Turku. The Crown's civil servants travelled along the route with armed bodyguards - troopers.

| Huittinen: The Puurijärvi - Isosuo national park |

The Puurijärvi - Isosuo national park boasts one of the biggest bird lakes in southern Finland. Its information centre is located in Karhiniemi, Huittinen. The national park covers 2,600 hectares and consists of the Puurijärvi Lake and five marshes. The Kokemäenjoki River, too, flows through the park.

Reitti (The Route) is a hiking route in the Pori region that continues to Tampere through Hämeenkangas and Jämi. The total length of the route is 360 km so, whether you want a short outing lasting half a day or to hike for a week, welcome to the route. The route also provides magnificent possibilities for eating out, sauna, accommodation services, let alone fishing, canoeing and other activities.

| Pomarkku: The Isoneva marsh conservation area |

The Isoneva marsh is characteristic of the Pomarkku hiking route (total length 22 kilometres). Isoneva is an 800-hectare, magnificent and easily accessible marsh with 5 kilometres of easy paths, a bird observation tower and excellent information-bearing signs. The Pomarkku route starts from the former railways station in the centre of Pomarkku, and runs along the Isoneva marsh and the Sulkkijärvi wilderness lake. After the wilderness lake, the route joins the Noormarkku route in Sauvakoski. The route has excellent directional signing and numerous rest areas and fireplaces. |
| Pomarkku: Hand-car track for travellers |

Finland's only hand-car track runs from Kankaanpää to Pori via Pomarkku and Noormarkku. The 48- km long track was opened for tourists in 2000 and has been extremely popular ever since. Travellers can take e.g. the route from Pomarkku to Noormarkku and back. The total length of the route is 22 kilometres and the total duration of the trip around 3.5 hours. A hand-car has room for two persons.

| Ulvila: The Joutsijärvi recreational area |

With its marked routes and services, the Joutsijärvi recreational area is the favourite destination of hikers and paddlers. You can also go fishing, swimming and boating both in normal and big church boats or have a sauna at Joutsijärvi Lake. In the middle of this peaceful wilderness you can stop to make a fire at one of the rest areas. A broad variety of accommodation is provided, from sheds to cottages.
